Ordering the Tour How do I order a virtual tour? It's easy, just call 561-792-3130 or email order@virtualtoursusa.com. A manager will discuss with you what you want, and we'll set up the appointment, usually 2-3 days in advance, depending on the property. What areas do you serve? We've completed tours from Florida to California, Canada to the Bahamas. Don't see your area? Contact us! Do I need to have my own website? No; our virtual tours are hosted through us and can be posted to a variety of websites, including Realtor.com. What type of property looks good on virtual tour? A virtual tour can enhance any property. From the smallest yacht to the largest cruise ship, and every bar, restaurant, house and hotel in between. Vacant properties also turn out very well with our virtual tours. I acquired a listing with a virtual tour. Can I use this old tour or should I order a new one? No. A virtual tour must be ordered with each MLS number. What is the minimum order? None. You're not tied to a contract or prepayment of any kind. You pay as you go! Shooting the Tour Do I have to be present for the virtual tour? No, as long as a representative or the owner will be there. We can discuss the scenes you want prior to the appointment. What can I do to to get the property ready for the photographer? The property should be clean as if for a showing. Any site preparations you want should be completed before the appointment time. Generally, our photographers do not carry extra lighting, and all lights should be on to maximize the feel of the room. For more information, see our tips. How long does it take to shoot? It takes 20-25 minutes to shoot a residential property; we schedule our appointments with this time frame in mind. The home should be ready to shoot as soon as the photographer arrives. The shooting time varies with other types of property; please contact us for details. What about security issues with the seller? These should be worked out prior to the appointment time. If possible, the photographer will avoid portraits, electronic equipment, etc.; however, any personal items or valuables that can be removed should be, before the photographer arrives. What are the cancellation fees? There is no charge if an appointment is cancelled more than 24 hours in advance. If an appointment is cancelled from 24 to 3 hours ahead of time, a $35 cancellation fee will apply. Cancellations within three hours of appointment are subject to a $50 fee. For out-of-town projects and commercial properties, please contact us. What if I am late or miss my appointment? The photographer will wait up to 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. If you miss the appointment there will be $50 cancellation fee. We ask that if the photographer is late, that you also wait 15 minutes. We will do our best to notify you if we are running late. For out-of-town projects and commercial properties, please contact us. How long does it take for my virtual tour to be online? Our tours can usually be processed within one business day, but can take up to 3 business days from the appointment date. Viewing the Tour Do I need to download additional software to view your tours? No; additional software, plug-ins or risky executable files are not needed to see our tours online. Can you post my virtual tour on my website? We can send you or your webmaster a link to post the tour on your site. How long will my virtual tour be online? After 180 days, please notify us if you still have the listing, and we can reactivate the tour for you. What if my listing expires and I renew it? If a listing is renewed with the same agent, your virtual tour will remain online with no additional cost. If a property is re-listed with a new agent, a new virtual tour will be required. |
